piping guidelines

Why use plastic pipe systems?

PVC pipes have clear environmental advantages over traditional materials. As PVC is a low carbon plastic, PVC pipes require less energy and fewer resources to manufacture. Due to their low weight, less energy is used when transported. PVC pipes last long with a minimum of maintenance and they are easily recyclable.

PVC is chemically resistant to acids, salts, bases, fats, and alcohols, making it resistant to the corrosive effects of sewage, which is why it is so extensively utilized in sewer piping systems. It is also resistant to some solvents, this, however, is reserved mainly for uPVC (unplasticized PVC). Plasticized PVC, also known as PVC-P, is in some cases less resistant to solvents

flexibility

Flexibility

The pipes are always classified by their ring stiffness. The ring stiffness of pipes is important if they are needed to withstand external loading during installation. The flexible nature of pipes ensures that they would not fail. The deflection can take place while keeping up with its original function, without breaking.

watertight-joints

Watertight Joints

Polyethylene, polypropylene and metal pipes use three joint types: soil-tight, silt-tight, and watertight. There is a clear hierarchy going down the list from soil-tight (the worst- performing) to watertight (the best-performing). PVC pipes use only watertight joints

The use of plastic pipes also takes into account, the safety factor. The qualified nominal pressure of a plastic pipe has always included a safety factor. This helps in the design of the piping system.

longer lengths

Longer Lengths

PVC pipes manufacturers in India - Truflopipes is a well known brand of PVC pressure piping ... piping system is resistant to chemical corrosion, which gives these pipes much longer life. Heavy Pressure Plumbing Pipe (6Mtr.Length) 20 ft.

Why are plastic pipes better than metal pipes?

PVC have held up over the years, and one good thing about using plastic pipes is the fact that they don’t corrode like metal pipes do. Not all water is non-corrosive; water quality called acidic water can actually eat away at metals. Acidic water will not eat away at plastic pipes
